Our children have been visiting this practice for at least 5 years…went back to check my records through the “happy end of check up” pictures I used to post online to promote this practice and just to keep in my phone. TODAY we went in as we always do with our 2 girls and were told that a parent per child was NOT PERMITTED in the back for their appointments. I inquired about it and was told it was due to limited space which puzzled me because I’m only asking to be in the room with my child during their service. This is something that we have always done. My husband informed me of the after appointment care as we designated him to go back with the girls and the entire time I sat out front. I called and emailed several other dental practices because I will find out if this is a profession standard or not. No complains with the care today. The dentist sounded lovely from their sharing after… but truly dissatisfied with not being able to be present fully for their appointments when I have been since birth for all appointments and check ups!! ***Leaving this review in case this would be a deal breaker for other parents as well. ***

My 14 year old has terrible anxiety. He has been talking about how bad his anxiety is for days leading up to having to have a few cavities filled. We went to the Greensboro office instead because they had a sooner appointment. Dr. Waller was amazing!! He put my son at ease, walked him through every single step, and overall just made his anxiety go from a 10 to a 1 in a matter of a few minutes. I am so happy with this office and how caring the dentist, hygienist, and all the other employees here are!! Thanks for such a great experience!!!

I’ve been coming here for years, and the service has always been amazing. Unfortunately, my experience today was very different. Upon check-in, the girl seated in the middle, who stated her name was “Lilly,” was extremely rude. She definitely needs additional customer service training. I was asked to confirm my name, which is completely understandable to ensure that I am the parent. However, I was then also asked to provide my date of birth for confirmation, while another parent standing next to me during check-in was not asked the same questions. If this is office protocol, it needs to be applied consistently across the board. There is also no reason for aggression or an unprofessional attitude while asking these questions. In addition, there is far too much playing around and unprofessional behavior taking place behind the front desk for a medical office. Patients should feel that staff members are focused on providing quality customer service and maintaining a professional environment. This situation needs to be addressed immediately. I have always had positive experiences here, which is why today’s interaction was so disappointing.

Took my 12 year old autistic daughter here yesterday after her dental practice recently shut down. The appointment was made for the very next day, no wait, and the care was fast, friendly, and very thorough. Definitely a great experience for Aurora. Thank you!

They are efficient and the wait in the lobby is minimal which is nice. They are a little more corporate in their processes though and do not have much flexibility in their policies which caused us to nearly cancel our appointment. We were given a one time exception to a rule preventing both parents from being with our child so we kept the appointment. Unfortunately, now we will have to find another provider because in our family when our child is going to do something scary or difficult we model that we both will be there to support and provide safety for our child.
